We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team at Anna Thomas in Cremorne, Victoria. As a full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the creative vision and development of our collection, contributing to the continued success and growth of the company. You will have a sense of colour and style as well as a European fashion sensibility.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the design process for new fashion collections, from concept development to final product
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure cohesive and innovative product offerings
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform the design direction
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, sketches, and design presentations for collections
• Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless translation of designs into high-quality garments
• Participate in fittings, quality control, and final approval of all products
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, techniques, and industry developments

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Fashion Designer, preferably in a fast-paced, high-end fashion environment
• Ability to deliver innovative designs using exclusive luxe European fabrics.
• Sophisticated personal style that creates innovative and commercial collections.
• Strong technical design skills, with expertise in pattern making, draping, and garment construction
• Excellent understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and materials
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD/CAM tools
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching fashion collections
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Appreciation and understanding for the fashion industry and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
