JANE

Jane gets up at 6am each morning to work on her drawing, enjoying the quiet solitude of a sleeping household. She is often accompanied by one of her favourite creative podcasts such as @talkingwithpainters . Her session reaches a natural conclusion when her nearly adult son arises late morning!

Working with the inspiring Anna Thomas collections informs the way she sees colour in the world. During the Covid19 isolation Jane made a series of leaf drawings to celebrate the glorious palette of Autumn.

She has been attending a private five-hour weekly art class for nearly a decade, (currently by Zoom). From time to time she exhibits her work.

During isolation Jane has loved watching the English @phillip_mould_gallery “Art in Isolation Series” on Instagram, and extending her cooking skills with the Karen Martini “Home” cookbook.

Her recent time at home highlighted the importance of interconnectivity. With the innovative use of technology, she was inspired by how resourceful and adaptable we have each become.

Janes favourite look for AW20 is the Simpson Coat paired with the Woollard boot.

This coat is the newest addition to her collection! She loves the style name reference to style icon Wallis Simpson.

With an undying love for Anna’s coats and over 17 years of working with the collection, Jane has almost as many coats, every Winter adding another!

The Simpson Coat brings a unique new silhouette to Jane’s wardrobe and a fresh palette to her extensive collection.

NIKOLETTA

Niko finds time on her weekends and evenings to practise visual art in her apartment. Currently she is working on a symbolic composition of sacred geometry on a large natural linen canvas. She enjoys working on an easel.

Before she starts making the work, she loves researching and planning her art project, adding integrity to the finished piece. With a love of colour and pattern, working with the Anna Thomas collections provides inspiration for her own artistic journey.

During isolation Nikoletta has been able to focus on other interests. Completing a self-development course highlighted the significance of self-connection in the context of connecting with others.

She also enjoyed revisiting her culture by cooking traditional dishes and creating poetry in the language of her native Hungary.

Her favourite AW20 Garment; Peggy cardigan in teal and Hope blouse because of the feminine details and warm neutral palette, complementing her AT collection of eight years!

JO

My little escape is my vegetable garden I love the reward of collecting tomatoes and picking fresh herbs and using them in my cooking. For me nature is very important and I enjoy natures gift of vibrant colours and natural fresh flavours.

Over the past few months I have learnt a great deal about the real values of simple living, and patience. Sharing more time than usual with my family we have been cooking ravioli and experimenting with new dishes from other cultures, even using some old family favourites from my grandmother.

My family and I have focused on our daily rituals which always start with exercise, swimming the bay at Bondi and running in the park.

My favourite AT piece from AW20 is the Marlow Coat and its relaxed style. I love the texture and colour complexity of the herringbone, and this style is perfect in body length for me. It’s a cool and adaptable piece to add to my AT wardrobe.
